Frequently Asked Questions
How can I schedule a consultation?
To schedule an initial appointment, please call me at 516-246-6514 or use the contact form found on the bottom of this website's homepage.

What can I expect in an initial session?
During an initial session I will spend some time gathering information about your current concerns. I will ask that you share what has brought you to therapy, and I will likely also ask questions about previous life experiences and relationships. I will also make time for you to ask me questions about my practice. From there, we can decide together if we would like to schedule a second session.

Where is your office?
Currently, all services are offered remotely.

Do you accept insurance?
I am not an in-network provider with any private insurance programs at this time. However, many insurance providers do allow for at least partial coverage for out-of-network therapists. It is a good idea to contact your insurance provider prior to starting therapy in order to request information about your out-of-network benefits. If you do have out-of-network benefits, I am able to provide superbill statements that can be submitted to insurance for partial reimbursement.

How much does therapy cost?
My full fee is $200 for an hour-long session, but I also offer lower fee sliding scale slots. We can talk about what feels feasible for you during our consultation. Many clients are able to use their insurance to receive reimbursement for a percentage of the fees they pay for therapy. Please feel free to reach out for more information about how insurance reimbursement works.

What is a good faith estimate?
You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for therapy services. To learn more about this estimate, call 1-800-985-3059 or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
